Mugs by Baba Katsufumi

Born in Kurume City, Fukuoka, Japan, Katsufumi Baba graduated from the Faculty of Law at Fukuoka University before relocating to France. During his time there, he traveled across various regions to explore ceramics, expanding his knowledge and understanding of the craft. Upon returning to Japan, he trained in Shigaraki, Shiga Prefecture. In 2003, he established his own studio in Takara-uchi, Kurume City, where he continues to create pottery with great passion and energy.
